First seen in Bachmann's 1987 catalog, the company's Overland Limited train set remains in the catalog to this day.  The first example of the set in 1987 is pictured with a Union Pacific two-tone gray Overland 4-8-4 steam engine pulling a Triple Dome Tank Car; 50' Plug Door Box Car; Stock Car; Heavy Duty Flat with Logs; Cylindrical Hopper; another 50' Plug Door; 56' Center-Flow Hopper; Open Hopper; and Caboose with wide-vision cupola.  The set's retail is $134 in '87 and included an 87" x 40" figure-8 track plan and power pack.
