This ad in the March 1967 edition of Model Railroader magazine announced the coming of a new line of imported brass locomotives under the ALCO Models banner. This new addition to Tony Cook's HO-Scale Trains Resource features a full color gallery of the many great ALCO Models releases. The site's focus is on the KMT-Kumata built brass 1/87th diesel locomotives. ALCO used KMT of Japan for production of most of its late '60s and 1970s offerings. In all their glory from the original offering DL-640/RS-27 (D-101) and on through more ALCOs, plus EMD; GE; Fairbanks-Morse; MLW; Baldwin and more.

Similar is design to other popular online resources, the ALCO Models HO-Scale Trains Resource include a full reproduction of the company's 1st Edition Catalog. Online reproductions of magazine advertisements. And large color images of the models themselves, inlcuding underframe shots and box labels for aid in collector identification.
