TYCO's ACL Observation features a purple band above the window section lettered with Atlantic Coast Line.  The car's name plate below the window section reads Pullman; the ACL Obs also has a purple colored numberboard near the doors on the car end with the number 1235.

Like the other TYCO Streamline Passenger Cars dressed for Penn Central service, the Observation example also had a green stripe and red lettering.  The Obs carried the roadnumber 6531 in the plate centered on the side of the car below the window section.

TYCO no longer lists individual roadnames for its passenger cars beginning with the 1968-69 and continuing in the 1969-70 and 1970-71 catalogs. The Penn Central passenger cars are featured in the 1970-71 catalog without information regarding their letter designation.

The kits also disappear with the 1968-69 catalog.

Listed as "Streamline Dual Lighted Observation Car," this passenger car had retail price of $5.98 in the 1960, 1961, 1962-63, 1963-64, 1964-65, 1965-66, 1966-67, 1967-68 and 1968-69 catalogs. The price is $6.00 in the 1969-70 and 1970-71 catalogs.

The 1963-64 TYCO Catalog adds a kit version, #K522A thru #K522K, selling for $2.79 for this car. The kit version is again found in the 1964-65, 1965-66, and 1966-67 catalogs selling for $2.79. The kits, #K522A thru #K522L, is priced at $3.29 in the 1967-68.

TYCO lists an "Aluminum Body Passenger Car Kit" for the Observation, #K506, in the 1964-65, 1965-66, and 1966-67 catalog priced at $5.98. The aluminum car kit, #K506, is priced at $6.98 in the 1967-68.

A "Metalized Chrome" version of this passenger car is available in two roadnames, B&O(#T522AC) and Santa Fe(#T522DC), selling for $6.98 as a Ready-To-Run model only in the 1964-65 and 1965-66 catalogs. The Southern Railway, #T522JC, is added to the chromed cars in 1965-66.
