The Shifter Special Freight

Set included an 0-4-0 Shifter and Tender with operating headlight; Operating Log Dump Set with push-button controller; Operating track section; Logs and Receiving Bin; Refrigerator Car; Hopper Car; 8-wheel Caboose; 14 sections of track with Rerailer to make a 45" x 36" oval.  This set's power pack included set carried a 1970 retail of $32.00.  The set without power pack is listed for $25.00.

The Golden West

Set included a 4-6-0 Rogers Locomotive and Tender with operating headlight; 1890 Passenger Baggage-Combine; 2-1890 Passenger Car Coaches; 14 sections of track, with rerailer, to make a 45" x 36" oval.  This set's retail price was $39 (with power pack) and $32 (without power pack) in 1970-71.

Billed in the 1970-71 TYCO catalog as "beauty on wheels," this set included a lighted powered F-9; lighted Combine Car; lighted Passenger Car; lighted Observation Car; 12 sections of track to make a 36" circle.  Retail for the power pack equipped version was $35; while the set minus a power pack sold for $28 in 1970.

The Super Chief

The Railroad Empire
